Cat 3 Hurricane Causes Damage

When category 3 hurricane flood waters entered this home in Washington, NC, SERVPRO of Bath was there to help! The house had sat for 18 days with the flooring and walls completely saturated with standing water trapped in walls and between flooring layers. We removed all affected and destroyed material and dried the structural wood to its preloss moisture levels. We did away with the flooring and put our drying equipment in to dry out the sub flooring. This house required eight days just to dry out. Upon completion, the home owner was more than pleased with the job SERVPRO had done.
