SERVPRO restores The Pirates Chest Gift Shop

The Pirates Chest gift shop in Ocracoke NC suffered from fire damage along with damage from the thousands of gallons of water used to put the fire out. This project required complete replacement of all exterior siding, plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems along with removal of all insulation and drywall. The owner also requested significant renovation to the existing structure including the relocation of a large stairway, removal of the entire roof truss system, relocation of windows, and raising the second-floor walls 2 feet. These changes increase the showroom area by over 25%. The company is all ready for the tourist to enjoy their shop this summer!
