Possible Water and Mold in Schools
11/27/2019 (Permalink)
With the recent hurricanes in eastern North Carolina, area schools may have experienced water and mold in their buildings.
Throughout a child’s life many things are done to keep them out of harms’ way. Plug covers are used to keep them away from electrical outlets. Training wheels are put on their bikes to prevent falling, and helmets are worn just in case they do. We use car seats until our child reaches a certain height and weight. These and many more things are done to keep our precious cargo safe and sound.
As parents and educators, it’s our jobs to keep our children safe. So, it only makes sense that we’d be concerned if mold was discovered in one of our schools. We’d want to make sure it was removed and handled properly. Well, that’s where SERVOPRO of Bath comes in.
When you call SERVPRO of Bath, you’re calling a local business that’s part of the community, someone that understands a mold-free school is necessary for a healthy learning environment. We’ll locate the problem and our certified technicians will make sure the job is done properly. We’ll ensure that the mold is remediated, and, if needed, we can even bring in a third-party to test air quality and certify our work meets any city, county and state regulations and standards.
